As part of the Digital Verification of your applicant/s identity, the documents that they provide will be checked against government databases.

In the AMP lodgement workflow, the ID Document Verification widget does this by passing the required detail to the GreenID service.

In most lodgements, this widget is either skipped, or automatically completed.

Where is the ID Document Verification widget?

The ID Document Verification widget is found at the bottom of the Applicants page:

When is the ID Document Verification widget used?

This widget is only used where you 'recall' an existing IDVerse report to satisfy the "Verification of Identity (VOI)" widget.

Where you have ordered a fresh IDVerse report in Loanapp

Where you order a fresh IDVerse report by selecting "request from applicant" in the Verification of Identity (VOI) widget:

then the ID Document Verification widget will be automatically 'skipped' (it is not needed):

Where you have 'recalled' an existing IDVerse report to Loanapp

Where you have recalled an existing IDVerse report by selecting "enter reference number" in the Verification of Identity (VOI) widget:

then the ID Document Verification widget will be automatically triggered - it will pass the ID document detail to GreenID for a check. When it is complete, you will then have a "completed" status:

What if the service fails?

If the service fails, it will mean that the ID document data has not been found/ matched successfully in the government databases.

Note that the widget will be "Completed" (as the service has successfully been checked).....but the result is a fail:

You will be able to check the details to see if there is further information to help you with why eg:

You are best to check the ID Document details that you have entered, or are auto-populated into the Proof of Identity section in Loanapp:

Click on the three dots next to the record to see the detail:

You can check the detail by clicking on the pencil to edit:

โš ๏ธ Note that if you do change any of the detail....this will void any digital VOI digital services - ie you and your applicants will have to do them again!

If you have to update the ID document detail - then you will have to re-send the Digital VOI (and ID Document Verification) services:
