It's great that your school is using SIMTICS as a resource in your program of study!

IMPORTANT: You need to know the relevant registration process to use for your particular school and class. Please do not start a free trial or try to create an account on our site without checking first!

There are different methods to register for a new account, depending on what your school or instructor has agreed with us, and whether your school provides access to SIMTICS through their own system or not. Therefore you'll need to follow the specific instructions that were created for your class. These should be provided to you by your instructor or the bookstore.

If you need to purchase a SIMTICS bundle using your credit card, ask your instructor for the SIMTICS registration instructions that were created for your class. That will include a special purchase link that was set up specifically for your class and how to make sure that your account is linked to your school.

If you have purchased a voucher from your bookstore, they should have provided you with SIMTICS registration instructions that explain how to redeem your voucher code. You must follow those instructions, which are specific to your class and will ensure that your account is linked to your school.

Or, if your instructor has told you that your account has already been set up for you and you need to set your password, please read this article.

If you don't have the instructions from your school or bookstore, you need to get access to SIMTICS urgently, and cannot get hold of anyone there (e.g. at the weekend) you can chat to us using the chat pop-up at the bottom left of this page. Please provide your school name and the email address you use for your school work so we can find the relevant instructions for you.
