Overview
The Proposal Conversion widget gives you a high level view of your sales team's effectiveness by showing how many proposals are converted into won work. This helps owners and managers set realistic sales goals, assess individual rep performance, and forecast future revenue.
The information in this widget is pulled directly from the Sales Rep Report, using the Sales Rep Name, Created Proposals, Accepted Proposals, and Proposal Conversion columns.
Widget Column Definitions
Sales Rep Name | Created | Accepted | Conversion % |
The name of the rep assigned to the job. Note: A job or visit must have a Sales Rep assigned to be included in these calculations. | The total number of proposals created within the selected date range. This includes jobs created directly in the Proposal stage and those converted from Leads. | The number of proposals created within the date range that have moved into the Active, Completed, or Approved stage. | Calculated as Accepted Proposals divided by Created Proposals, expressed as a percentage. |
Filters
Date | Filters data by the Proposal Created Date. It defaults to the current month, but you can select a custom range to view past performance. |
Operation | Filters results by the business operations (e.g., Maintenance, Install) associated with the jobs. |
Notes
One proposal per record: If a client is sent two separate proposals and only accepts one, the rep's conversion rate for that client will show 50% (1 Accepted / 2 Created). This is expected, since the widget tracks total bid volume against wins.
Drill down: Clicking a Sales Rep's name in the widget opens the Sales Rep Report with the same filters applied, so you can review the jobs behind their totals.
