Daily Workflow
The QuickBooks Online Unsynced Entities should be checked daily. This will list all entities that are unable to sync from SingleOps into QuickBooks.
Navigate to: Reports > QB Syncing > QuickBooks Online Sync Report
Review and update Unsynced Entities:
Login to QuickBooks to confirm the entity has not been deleted (this is the most common reason for an unsynced entity).
If entity has been deleted from QBO, remove the link between SingleOps and QuickBooks by clicking Clear ID on the SingleOps QuickBooks Online Unsynced Entities page. This action will allow you to resync a new entity. For more information on clear ID, see QuickBooks Online Code Reference Guide.
Check Error Code and Message for details. These are given from QuickBooks to provide information on why entity did not sync.
Use the QuickBooks Online Code Reference Guide for steps to resolve common messages.

Unsynced vs Ignored Entities
The QuickBooks Online sync report in SingleOps has two tabs: Unsynced Entities and Ignored Entities.
Unsynced Entities | Ignored Entities |
Unsynced Entities shows records that failed to sync, along with the error code and message. | Ignored Entities holds records that were intentionally ignored so they no longer appear on the active error list, and they will not sync again until un-ignored. |
Unsynced Entities Tab Troubleshooting
The Unsynced Entities tab lists records that failed to sync, along with their error code and message. For a complete guide on how to troubleshoot this tab, please refer to QuickBooks Online Error Code Reference Guide.
Ignored Entities Tab
Working with Ignored Errors
The Ignored Entities tab holds records that you've set aside so they no longer appear on your main error list. Records in the Ignored Entities tab will not sync to QuickBooks until you un-ignore them.
When to Ignore an Error
Ignore an error when a record is already correct in both SingleOps and QuickBooks and you don't want to make further changes, but the error keeps surfacing on your report. For example, a payment may fail to sync because the corresponding QuickBooks transaction has already been included in a bank deposit, and you don't want to edit historical deposits. In that case, leave the deposit as-is and ignore the error so it moves off your active list.
Ignoring a record moves it off your Unsynced Entities list and into the Ignored Entities tab. The record is still available for reference later, and ignoring it does not change any existing data in either SingleOps or QuickBooks.
To ignore a record:
In SingleOps, go to Reports → QB Syncing → QuickBooks Online Synced Report.
Find the record's row and click Ignore under the Actions column.
What the Ignored Entities Tab Means
If a record is sitting in the Ignored Entities tab, it generally means someone clicked Ignore on a prior error for that record. Because ignored records will not sync until they are un-ignored, review this tab periodically if you're missing records you expected to see in QuickBooks.
How to Un-Ignore & Re-Sync a Record
If you find a record in the Ignored Entities tab that you actually need in QuickBooks:
In your QB Sync report, switch to the Ignored Entities tab.
Locate the record you need. Because the entity description can be cut off, click the linked job to confirm it's the right one, then click Unignore under the Actions column.
Refresh the page and switch back to the Unsynced Entities tab.
Find the record and click Sync/Resync to push it to QuickBooks.
Confirm in QuickBooks that the record synced over successfully.
Payment Sync
Payments sync bi-directionally only on invoices that originated in SingleOps. If an invoice was created in SingleOps and synced to QuickBooks, a payment recorded against it in QuickBooks will sync the balance back to SingleOps and mark the invoice paid.
Invoices and prepayments created directly in QuickBooks will not sync into SingleOps.
Using the Sync to SingleOps Button
The Sync to SingleOps button pulls QuickBooks Online updates back into SingleOps on demand, so you don't have to wait for the overnight sync. It works in the QBO → SingleOps direction, most often to bring QuickBooks-side payments into SingleOps.
This is different from resyncing an unsynced entity, which pushes a record out from SingleOps to QuickBooks.
When to Use It
When a payment recorded in QuickBooks hasn't come over to SingleOps yet and you don't want to wait for the overnight sync.
After you correct a record in QuickBooks (for example, assigning a GST/HST tax code or applying a payment to an invoice) and want that record pulled back into SingleOps.
Steps
In SingleOps, go to Reports → QB Syncing → QuickBooks Online Sync and open the QuickBooks Online sync report.
Click the Sync to SingleOps button to pull the latest QuickBooks data for that record.
Confirm in SingleOps that the update (for example, the payment or corrected field) came over as expected by checking the invoice in SingleOps
