Q&A

1.Does an invoice need to be attached to each booking?

Every booking has an invoice automatically generated for you as soon as the booking is saved in Sion. Read this article to learn more about invoices.

2. How does reporting work?

Sion’s reporting is robust and customizable. You can use the filters on the left side of the bookings page to create the report you’d like to see - adjust the date field and date range, view a specific status, or view bookings only for a specific client or supplier. You also have the ability to export a CSV or PDF report from Sion by clicking on the download button.

2. If I set a custom date field as my default, will that be only for me or for all other agents as well that are in the team

Every Sion account can be customized so the default date field is set to what makes sense for you.

3. Where can you get a total for individual suppliers (monthly, yearly, etc.) ie: total sales for Four Seasons for 2025 to date?

You can create these reports on the Bookings page. Just use the quick search to search for the supplier, or supplier group, adjust the date fields, and you will have your total sales.

To learn more about how to run supplier reports from the Suppliers page, check this article.

4. What's the difference between Tags and Notes?

Tags are filterable, meaning you can create reports based on tags. Notes are freeform, and are used to store additional information, however these can not be used for searching/reporting.

Read this article to learn more about how to add Tags and Notes to your bookings.
