SKAND supports the import of non-georeferenced 2D images, enabling users to perform annotations and data analysis without requiring spatial metadata. This guide outlines the steps to successfully upload and manage non-georeferenced 2D images within your project.
Prerequisites
Ensure you have access to the relevant project on your Project Dashboard.
Prepare your non-georeferenced 2D images in a supported format.
Navigate to your Project Dashboard. Click Add New Layer.
Input a Layer Name and select Image Groups. Click Next.
Leave the Data Format and EPSG Code fields blank. Click Next.
In Files & Folders, select the 2D images you wish to upload. Click Done.
SKAND will begin uploading your selected 2D images. Once the upload is complete, the images will be available and visible within the project layer. Once the 2D image layer is created, enable it to view the images in full-screen mode.
Note: Non-georeferenced images do not require a BlocksExchange XML file to be processed or displayed.
