Best Practices
Follow these best practices to maximize the Data Management enhancements:
Use the Right Folder Layout for the Task – Use List View for detailed file information, Grid View for visual browsing of images and videos, and Column View for navigating structured or deeply nested folders.
Maintain Clear and Consistent File Naming – Use descriptive file names that include project references, dates, or version numbers. Consistent naming improves searchability and makes browsing more efficient across all layouts.
Preview Before Downloading – Open images, videos, CAD files, and PDFs directly in the platform to verify content before downloading. This reduces unnecessary local storage and keeps workflows streamlined.
Review 360 Content in Immersive Mode – Switch to panorama or immersive mode when reviewing 360 photos and walkthrough videos to fully inspect spatial details and site conditions.
