If I am successful, can I bring family members with me?

No. The RSSP is designed for students to travel on their own. Each student comes individually on their own Special Humanitarian Program visa with the support of Skill Path. This enables students to focus on their studies, as is the case with other international scholarship programs.

Once settled in Australia, there may be options to visit family members outside Australia, depending on particular family circumstances. It is also technically possible for RSSP students to apply to sponsor family members to come to Australia once settled. However please be aware these visa streams are oversubscribed and most applications are denied. There is no guarantee family members will be able to come to Australia.

Multiple siblings can apply to the RSSP. Each student is assessed individually on their own merits, as we would assess any applicant. If more than one sibling is accepted into the program, each will be proposed on their own individual visa application.
