Making deposits on Skye Wallet is swift, easy and instant. There are three different payments methods which you could choose from but first of all, you are required to provide your bank verification number (BVN ) and your date of birth (as registered on your BVN).
Once your BVN is verified, (Kindly note that the BVN verification process is a one time requirement) you will be provided with a list of available payment methods.
There is the Bank Transfer method, which by clicking on it, you are then provided with an account information that belongs to you for the purpose of your deposit.
Bank transfers made to the provided account information will automatically top up your naira wallet on Skye Wallet.
The maximum amount of deposit for this method is Five million Naira (N5,000,000) at a time.
Follow the steps below for Bank Transfer method of deposit
On your Skye Wallet dashboard, click on "Deposit",
Go ahead to select "Bank transfer".
Input your BVN and your Date of Birth for verification and click on "Verify". (This is a one time process) .
Kindly make a transfer to the given account information.
Once your transfer is successful, you will receive your funds instantly on your Naira wallet.
The next method of Deposit is the Voucher method which you also need to verify your BVN. On Voucher payment method, third party payment system such as OPAY, Palmpay, Pocket and Chipper are not supported. This means transfers has to be made from a commercial bank. It is also important to input the reference number provided to you in your narration or description while making the bank transfer.
You are also not expected to input any crypto related term/word.
Lastly, the bank account information provided to you for the is on a time crunch and once the timer goes down, the account information becomes invalid. This means that no two transactions can be made to the same account number.
The maximum amount of deposit for this method is Two million Naira (N2,000,000) at a time.
Follow the steps below for Voucher method of deposit
On your Skye Wallet dashboard, click on "Deposit",
Go ahead to select "Voucher"
To create voucher, click on "Create Voucher".
Input the amount you want to deposit and click on "Continue".
You are then directed to a new page where you see the amount you are to deposit, Click on "Make payment".
Ensure you read the disclaimer pages and follow the prompt. Click on "I understand" to continue
Copy the provided account information and make the transfer.
Ensure transfer is made before the timer goes down and click on "I've made payment"
After following these processes correctly, your payment will be completed and funds received in your Naira wallet instantly.
The third deposit system is the Peer-to-Peer (p2p) method of deposit. This is more like a regular method of deposit. Transfers are made to a merchant provided to you by Skye Wallet and the deposits made are approved upon fund reception. This method of payment is not instant but it is reliable and swift as possible.
The maximum amount of deposit for this method is One million Naira (N1,000,000) at a time.
Follow the steps below for Peer-to-Peer (p2p) method of deposit
Click on “Deposit” on your Skye wallet Dashboard
Go ahead to select "Peer-to-Peer (p2p)"
Input the amount you want to deposit and click on “Continue”
You will be provided with a verified merchant, Click on the merchant provided to reveal bank account details
Copy the bank account information of the merchant and the transaction ID provided
Proceed to make the payment using your mobile banking app only, from your verified personal bank account.
Kindly make a transfer to the merchant’s account details and use the transaction ID as your description/references.
Please return to your Skye Wallet app or web platform to click on “I have done the transfer”
Your deposit will be confirmed within 5 - 15 mins.
