Overview

Skyp now supports the key controls required for GDPR compliance and centralizes them in your Account area.

From there, you can:

  • Review security and compliance details

  • Export your data

  • Manage your privacy settings

  • Review and manage connected services

  • Access and manage your billing in Stripe

All the core account-related actions that matter for GDPR are now self-serve and in one place.

Where to find your GDPR-related controls

  1. Log into Skyp.

  2. Click on your Account section.

This is your hub for:

  • Security and compliance information

  • Data export

  • Privacy controls

  • Connected services

  • Billing management (via Stripe)

Security & compliance

In the Account area, you’ll see:

  • Security settings and information that follow industry best practices

  • Confirmation that Skyp is Google Security compliant, which aligns with strong data protection and access controls

This gives you a clear view of how your account and data are protected.

Exporting your data

GDPR requires that users can access and export their data.

From the Account area, you can:

  • Export your data associated with your Skyp account

  • Use that export for your own records, internal audits, or migration tasks

This supports data portability and transparency, key pillars of GDPR.

Managing your privacy

You also have direct control over privacy-related settings, including:

  • How your data is stored and used within Skyp

  • Any configuration options related to consent or data handling (where applicable)

This helps you align Skyp usage with your own internal privacy policies.

Managing connected services

The Account area shows the services connected to your Skyp account, such as:

  • Integrations

  • External tools authorized to access your Skyp data

From here, you can:

  • Review which services are connected

  • Manage or revoke access as needed

This supports GDPR principles around data minimization and control.

Managing billing via Stripe

Skyp now links directly to Stripe for billing management.

From the Account area you can:

  • Access your billing portal via Stripe

  • Update payment methods

  • View invoices and subscription details

This keeps your financial and subscription data under your control and easily accessible.
