Product Library on EXPLORE

This support article summarizes our Product Library where all application and premium available products are listed.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Product Library provides a window into the vast collection available at SkyWatch, including data product names, suppliers, image types, resolutions, and EXPLORE availability. From listening to our users, we have learned that identifying the right satellite imagery or data for a project can sometimes be challenging. The Product Library is designed to solve this problem by offering samples and descriptions of all products available through SkyWatch.

Please note that not all products listed in the Product Library are available on demand through EXPLORE. Some are categorized as premium and require a HUB subscription. Details on how to get started with a subscription, if interested, are provided later in this article.

Product Library Page

To open the Product Library, load the EXPLORE application on your computer.

Users will see the "Product Library" tab at the top of the screen.

Once you are in the Product Library, to review what is available, users can either type in the name of the product, or use the filter located in the left column.

Users can filter based on the following criteria:

  • Resolution

  • Sensor Type (Optical, Elevation, SAR, Hyperspectral)

  • Order Type (Archive vs. Tasking)

  • Provider

  • Product Type

If the selected product is available on EXPLORE, click on the product to review its offerings (see the red arrow on the left side of the image below). You will then see an "Order Now" option (indicated by the red arrow on the right side of the image below). Clicking this option will direct you to the EXPLORE page, where you can proceed with ordering the data.

You can also download samples to review the quality and resolution of the data, and review the "Order Parameters" so you are aware of the expected data format.

SkyWatch Support can be contacted by clicking on the "Contact Support" option.

If the product is not available on EXPLORE and requires HUB access, the button "Request HUB Trial".

Clicking "Request HUB Trial" will direct you to the HUB trial webpage on the SkyWatch website. You’ll need to complete a form and wait for a confirmation email to be sent to your provided email address.

Once your trial is set up, a member of the SkyWatch sales team will contact you to discuss the premium product you’re interested in.
