Maximum and Minimum AOI Sizes
Maximum and Minimum AOI Sizes
Updated over 2 weeks ago

EXPLORE has the following maximum and minimum limits of AOI sizes, which differ by resolution.

When trying to create an order that is outside of the allowed minimum or maximum areas, an error will be displayed.

Note: Please be aware that some types of orders have minimum pricing, which can differ from the minimum AOI size. Pricing is shown when confirming your order.

The minimum AOI sizes for the medium, high, and very-high resolution archive imagery are also the minimum charges for an archive order. For example, if you have an AOI polygon <5 km2 for a very high resolution image, you will be charged a minimum amount equivalent to a 5 km2 very high resolution image ($25 per km2 -> $100).
