DirectView allows fast visualization of a pipeline result by providing a dynamically-generated web map which tiles your data in real-time - like Google Maps but for your very own imagery orders within your organization, allowing you to gain access to the full resolution of your data in seconds.

Console Walkthrough

The simplest way that most customers will use DirectView is through the front-end HUB console. Go to "Data Management" and you will see a "DirectView" button visible near the right-mid corner.

The DirectView is available for all orders where a COG Georeference TIF is delivered. When the button is highlighted after you select an order, it confirms a Direct View link has been generated.

Open DirectView Application

Select the DirectView button (if highlighted) and the DirectView application will open a new tab which will look similar to this:

At the top left, you will see the order name you assigned. If no name is supplied on your order, it will default to the order ID.

DirectView Features and Tools

Features

Located in the top right corner of the DirectView application, you will see two links - "Copy Viewer Link" and "Copy WMTS URL".

• Copy Viewer Link allows you to share this web map without additional sharing options, and lets the order name take up the full width of the top bar - great for mobile viewing!

  • Copy WMTS (Web Map Tile Service) URL is intended for users that wish to easily integrate the result they see on the Direct View map into their own GIS or web map application. It copies a URL to the clipboard, which can then get integrated into your ArcGIS Online project.
