The final step in creating an e-course in Smart Arena is assigning it to a specific catalogue. Adding a course to a catalogue helps administrators group similar courses, streamline navigation for learners, and maintain a structured content library. For more information about catalogues see Course catalogues.
Select a Catalogue: Use the dropdown menu labelled Select catalogue to select an appropriate catalogue for the course.
Once you have chosen the catalogue, set the enrollment deadline and confirmation deadline. You can enable Self-enrollment by turning on the toggle.
The enrollment deadline is the last date by which users can register or be enrolled in a course. It ensures that all participants are added before the course begins or reaches capacity.
The confirmation deadline, on the other hand, is the final date by which participants must confirm their enrollment or be confirmed by the assigned confirmers.
3. Set enrollers and confirmers.
Enrollers - Select enrollers from the All users list, or from Groups and Roles tabs. When finished, click Confirm.
Confirmers - click Add confirmation level in the popup. Select confirmers from the All users list, or from Groups and Roles tabs. If you want to add another level for a second or third confirmer, repeat the process. When finished, click Confirm.
Click Save to finish the process.
Completing all the steps in the e-course creation process ensures that your course is comprehensive, engaging, and tailored to the needs of your learners. From setting up general details and managing users to adding surveys, notifications, certificates, and supplementary materials, each step contributes to delivering a seamless and impactful learning experience. By thoughtfully organizing and fine-tuning every element, administrators and instructors can create a course that not only educates but also motivates learners to achieve their goals.
