How do I make sure my hotspot is working properly after onboarding?

Step 1: Check the LEDs

From time to time, check that the Power LED and LoRa Radio Enabled LEDs (1st and 2nd from the left) are on, and that the Ethernet Traffic LED (3rd from the left) is on or flickering.

Step 2: Check your hotspot’s stats on one of the Helium Hotspot Explorers

Open the Helium Wallet app ➡️ Find your hotspot in the Hotspots tab:

Tap your hotspot ➡️ Tap Manage ➡️ Tap View in Explorer

Then you’ll need to select your preferred Hotspot Explorer. We recommend the Moken Explorer, in our opinion it has the most useful interface.

Once you get to the Explorer, you’ll be able to see your hotspot’s current status, previous earnings, latest activity, and more.

Just keep in mind the Explorers don’t update in 100% real-time and it may take a day for your hotspot’s latest earnings to show up.
