The Self-Monitoring Security feature gives your residents more control over their sensor devices. If enabled, residents can arm and disarm their homes to receive push notification alerts if there is unexpected activity on their motion and contact sensors. IMPORTANT: Once this feature is enabled, it will be available for all guests and cannot be undone.
Enabling Self-Monitoring Security:
To enable Self-Monitoring Security for your residents in SmartRent, follow these steps:
Click your desired Community
Click Settings in the left sidebar menu
Click Residents
Toggle the Self-Monitoring Security button to enable
Click Confirm
