How Do I Import Members/Users into Alloy Access?

Members can be imported into Alloy Access via a CSV file. Before you can import members, however, the desired CSV file must have the following headers in this specific order:

  • Access_Level, - single input, the name of the Access Level members should be added to

  • Card_number, - optional, the reference ID of the card/fob. The card must be in the bank

  • Department

  • Email

  • Facility_code

  • First_name *, - required

  • Last_name *, - required

  • Phone number

  • Pin_code, 6 digit pin code assigned to the member

  • Remote_id, - required, must be unique

  • Title

  • Valid_from, - iso 8601 datetime - leave blank for permanent code types, applies to both cards and pins

  • Valid_to - iso 8601 datetime - same as above

If there is a member with multiple card/FOB credentials or access levels, they can appear on the CSV multiple times and the system will merge them together.
