The Parking Actions Menu allows you to effectively manage your community's parking. To open the Parking Actions Menu in SmartRent, follow these steps:

The Add Space form allows you to quickly create a new parking space in your community. You can create a new space with the following fields:

The Add Sensor form allows you to quickly assign a Parking Sensor to an existing parking space. Simply select the Parking Sensor and its corresponding space and click Assign.

If a community is leveraging parking decals as an additional form of vehicle identification and parking authorization, you can use this form to assign them to residents and vehicles. Parking decals must first be requested by the community and the requested number of decals will be added into the parking database for distribution. Resident to decal ratio is 1:1.

In the Assign Decal form, simply enter the valid decal number, choose an existing resident, and choose the desired vehicle to assign the decal to.

You can validate any decal by entering the decal number into the Decal Number field and clicking Submit. Decal numbers must be six digits long.

Validate resident vehicles by simply entering their license plate number and the state. All residents should have their vehicle information associated with their accounts. Residents can enter their vehicle information through the Resident Web app on their own, or a site team member can enter their information for them in SmartRent.

Site teams with the proper permissions and notification settings will be notified anytime a resident adds a new vehicle to their profile with the Resident Web app.
