In SmartRent, the Parking Reservations Page allows you to view current parking reservations for the selected space. If vehicle or decal information is missing for any given residents, quick action buttons will be shown on the respective rows so you can quickly and easily add the missing information.
Accessing Reserved Parking Page:
To access the Reserved Parking Page in SmartRent, follow these steps:
Click your desired Community
Click Parking in the left sidebar menu
Click the Spaces tab towards the top of the page
Click the Reserved Spaces card
Click on desired Reserved Space
Add Vehicle:
Clicking Add Vehicle will open a form that allows you to manually enter resident vehicle information if the resident hasn’t yet added it on their own from the Resident Web app. The following fields will need to be entered:
License Plate (Required for validation)
State (Required)
Year (Required)
Make (Required)
Model (Required)
Color (Required)
In Service Toggle (ie Available to be assigned)
It is important to keep all resident vehicle information accurate and up to date for vehicle and parking validation purposes.
Assign Decal:
Clicking Assign Decal will open a form that allows you to manually enter resident vehicle info if the resident hasn’t yet added it on their own from the Resident Web app. The following fields will need to be entered:
License Plate (Required for validation)
State (Required)
Year (Required)
Make (Required)
Model (Required)
Color (Required)
In Service Toggle (ie Available to be assigned)
Resident Parking Details Page:
You can view Resident Parking Details by clicking the > to the right of any resident’s name. This will open a parking details menu where you can add new parking reservations for the resident, view/assign vehicles, and view/assign decals.
Additionally, you can add parking spaces/sections to the resident’s reservations by clicking Add a Space or Section.
Resident Detail Card View:
Clicking directly on the resident’s name on the reservations page will open their Resident Detail Card, typically located on their lease card. This page allows you to view residents’ details as well as utilize the same parking actions as shown on the reservations page. Vehicles and spaces can be revised or removed as needed.
