Does the shoppable video player work on all devices?

Yes, the Smartzer player works on all devices such as desktop, laptop, iOS, Android, iPad and other tablets. Please note - iOS 7 or higher is required

Can you shop directly from the shoppable video player (ie add to cart)?

Yes, this is possible. It requires integration with the your shopping cart but this is generally a relatively simple process.

How quickly can my account be set up?

Depending on your E-commerce platform, integration and your subscription package, set-up can take up to 2 weeks.

What subscriptions are on offer?

We offer a range of subscriptions based on your E-commerce platform and brand needs. Speak to a member of the sales team or an account manager for more details.

Does this work for livestream?

Yes, we have a functionality that allows you to create livestreams with product information and pop-ups.

Who hosts the files?

Smartzer hosts the files.

How many visitors can we handle?

There is no maximum limit for the number of visitors as the technology scales through Google App Engine as required.

Can we guarantee 100% video uptime?

It is not possible to guarantee 100% uptime for your site. However, the best we can offer is what Google and Amazon offer, which is about 98-99%.

Do we handle spam or bot clicks and views?

We do not handle spam or bot clicks/views, as we feel it would get in the way of the UX.

How does the system handle slow internet speeds?

Our player will automatically step down the quality of the video file being played if it detects a slow internet connection

The products on my endscreen carousel appear squashed together (see screenshot below for approximate reference)

This is because you have not set right the number of products that should be displayed on the carousel per screen size. You should use the aspect ratio drop-down in the editor to set the number of products to show per screen size. You should set it to 1 under the 9:16 drop down and 3 or 4 for 16:9.

I can’t see the Carousel title.

Please double-check you don’t have Custom URL CTA enabled on the endscreen. You can either have one or the other (if the Custom URL CTA has been included in your design)

I try to add my products to the cart but it keeps loading.

Check that you have implemented the add-to-cart code correctly. If the issue still persists, please get in contact with your Account Manager and provide them with the availability of your dev team to further investigate this on a call.
