If you want to use Zoom with Smartzer you can follow this guide on how to set it up.

Before you stream live, make sure you have contacted your account manager to make some minor player adjustments.

Please note: viewers will only see the shoppable version of the stream via the Smartzer live stream player (smartzer URL or smartzer iFrame embedded on a webpage). Smartzer will not introduce shoppability within the Zoom platform itself.

Step 1: Create a meeting on Zoom

Create a Zoom meeting like you would normally. Invite the guests who you would like to join.

Step 2: Input the stream URL, stream key and Smartzer player ID

Click "More" and choose "Live on Custom Live Streaming Service" to set these keys:

You should take your unique keys from the Smartzer editor and input them into the sections in Zoom:

Input them here:

You should input the RTMP from the Smartzer editor into the Streaming URL section

You should copy and paste the stream key from the Smartzer editor into the Streaming Key section

You should then copy and paste the player URL into the "Live streaming page URL" section, you can get this from the editor by clicking "Share" and then copying the URL like the below example:

Step 3: Start your Zoom call

You should then see the video coming through in the preview screen of the Smartzer editor.

When you are ready you can start streaming live in the Smartzer editor by pressing "Go Live"

Step 4: GO LIVE, Feature your products, manage your comments

You can then follow the normal live streaming process with Smartzer. See here for more details on this.

Please note: viewers will only see the shoppable version of the stream via the Smartzer live stream player (smartzer URL or smartzer iFrame embedded on a webpage). Smartzer will not introduce shoppability within the Zoom platform itself.

Step 5: End Live

Once you have finished your live stream, end the stream in Smartzer BEFORE ending the Zoom call.

Once you have ended the Smartzer stream you can then end the Zoom call.
