When reviewing the referral analytics through your Shopify account, you may notice that you don’t see Snappic referrals. Despite this, you can rest assured that you are in fact receiving referrals through your Snappic campaign. Currently, Snappic referrals are not available through Shopify Marketing Channels because we aren’t linked to Shopify’s marketing app. The reason for this is the the multiplatform nature of our app.
Typically, sales coming in from Snappic ads will show as coming in from either Facebook or Instagram as opposed to Snappic itself since these are the platforms on which your ads are running. Because of this, you’ll need to view the referrals from these platforms instead.
Additionally, it’s important to mention that neither Shopify nor Google Analytics will be able to show the referrals for view-through conversions. Conversions typically come in by either users clicking on an ad or by users seeing an ad and purchasing within 24 hours. Click through conversions are easily tracked via first click, last click, or assisted conversions on Google Analytics. View through conversions can only be tracked through Facebook though because Facebook does not share this information with neither Shopify or Google Analytics.
We highly recommend viewing your campaign's analytics through your Snappic dashboard, which pulls data directly from the Facebook Ads Manager.
