  • If I turn on an automated schedule will it post out everything I have available in RMA?

    • No, when a schedule is activated it will only look into the past for 5 days for any Reviews, Listings or Solds. This means that no past content outside of this period will be posted via in the Social Studio in the MVP version. Posting older content that’s available in RMA will be possible in later releases and is tentatively coming in August.

    • Users can still manually schedule their older reviews & listings in the social studio

  • A lot of my listings don’t have any photos inside of RMA, will you keep posting these with default backgrounds?

    • Reviews, New Listings & Just Sold’s without images will not be scheduled immediately. We have added a buffer time for each post type to allow the user time to add their images e.g. Reviews is 1 day (low prominence on the property photos in templates), New Listings is 5 days (highest priority content) and Just Sold is 10 days.

  • For the ‘Automatic’ option for Listings, it says we won’t post between 10pm-7am, is this based on the users timezone?

    • Yes! We know where users are located and will always default to the timezone that’s relevant to them.

  • Is there going to be RateMyAgent branding on these posts like in the current SMM?

    • We do have some review templates available that show the ‘verified by RateMyAgent’ logo, however, given that they have full flexibility to customize templates, this is something that they could easily remove if the didn’t want to show the RateMyAgent brand. We get a lot of feedback from users saying they want to remove our logos.

  • In the captions it looks like we link them back to RateMyAgent, can they change this?

    • They do have the option to remove the RMA website URL from their posts, however, at this stage they don’t have the option to replace it with something else. This is true for both Automated Captions and Manual Captions (there is a toggle when manually posting to switch this off)

    • We are looking to explore allowing users to change these links to their preferred website/landing page etc. this is highly likely to be a more ‘premium’ feature.

  • If a user has posted all of their reviews/listings/solds, will we start automatically posting them again?

    • At this stage we will not automatically repost anything that’s been posted before. They can of course still choose to manually reschedule their content.

  • Does it pick up all reviews available on their profile to post? Including external reviews?

    • Any review that has been linked to the transaction, whether it’s been requested from RMA, linked from Zillow/Google etc. or currently ‘unverified’ will be available to be posted.

  • Since social studio is only picking up ‘new’ content, can users still have SMM in RMA enabled for older posts?

    • Yes, they can use both tools concurrently - but keep in mind that for any ‘new’ content coming in, it will likely post the same piece of content twice. As the templates will be completely different, we have deemed it low risk for now, but will need to monitor closely.

  • Will the automatic posting follow similar logic to RMA for example if I get 3 new reviews does it still go newest to oldest?

    • It will actually schedule the oldest first - e.g. if you collected 3 reviews in the week, it will have scheduled the oldest first when it came in, followed by any subsequent reviews that came in after. Once a post has been added to your schedule, it doesn’t get replaced by anything newer.

    • We are still outlining what the extended rules will be for listings & reviews which will come in later releases - however, at this stage, all listings, reviews & solds will be scheduled to post based on oldest to newest for NEW content that is received after the schedule is activated

  • What is the difference between how RMA SMM auto-posts and the social studio’s ‘automated schedule’?

    • The RMA SMM doesn’t ‘schedule’ posts in advance, it essentially selects the most current content ‘in-time’ based on when we’re supposed to post something - which creates confusion for the user and we can’t provide clarity on what will actually post next

    • The social studio ‘scheduler’ does exactly that, it schedules content when it comes in, gives that content a day/time to be posted based on the users settings and is then visible in the ‘Scheduled Posts’ section, giving them visibility of what content will be posted and when.

  • Once content has been scheduled, can changes be made to the posts/templates?

    • Absolutely yes! They can go to their scheduled posts section at any point to update their captions, the day/time it’s schedule to post or even further customise their template.

  • Will there be a post history and can you differentiate between manual, autopilot or auto-scheduled posts.

    • There is already a ‘published posts’ page which will include all post types that have been scheduled and published. We are tracking internally how the posts were scheduled and will look to show this on the front end for future releases.

  • Will autopilot stay as is for people who have this new feature? Do you see these being combined in future?

    • At this stage the two tools will continue to be separate - Autopilot schedules a full month in advance (on a set day each month) where as the review/listing & sold scheduling updates and posts as new content is created which adds complexity to how we can blend the two tools. In say that, in the future we would like these two tools to work more closely together but there is no ETA for this.

  • Autopilot in CS sends emails to customers before posts go out, are we considering this functionality for the new automated posts?

    • Yes it's being considered, there is currently no ETA for when this would be implemented

  • As a team/office, can they show their agents branding bar instead of their own?

    • Unfortunately this isn’t possible right now, they will only have access to the branding bars they have created against their own profile, not those of their agents.

    • In the future we’re looking at a) automated branding bar creation for all users coming from RMA (ETA July/August) and b) allow Team/Office users to choose their preference for showing the agents branding bar or their own office branding bar (date TBD)
