Adding Members to Your Organization
Adding members manually can be done from any crowd. The example below uses a crowd that is not All Members to illustrate a difference between two buttons in the app.
To begin, whether from All Members, or any other crowd, click the Actions button and find the Invite Member(s) option.
NOTE:
Notice the button just above Invite Member(s)? This is only shown on crowds that are NOT the All Members crowd. This other option, Add Member(s) means to add already existing org members specifically as members to the current crowd you are on.
Once you click Invite Member(s) a modal will pop up asking for some information. You can add up to 5 members maximum this way. The required fields are denoted, and are: First Name, Last Name, and Email. Some of the features here include:
Green add button to add up to 5 total people to your list
Orange broom button to clear all fields
Red X to remove a member from your list of 5 to be invited
Green notify button to send an email/sms notification to the person being added to the org
The invite button which will submit the invitation
Adding Members to a Crowd
Instead of clicking Invite Member(s) in the Actions button dropdown from a crowd, you can click Add Member(s) which will allow you to add any existing org members to a specific crowd.
Clicking this button will bring up a modal that allows you to multi-select from people in your org and then click an Add button to add them.
Some of the features on this modal include:
Show Deactivated Users toggle, by default this is OFF so you only see active users when you come to this modal.
Search bar to quickly search for members in the org
Clicking on columns allows you to sort by that column
The table is paginated so you can navigate between pages of results to find members you’d like to add.
Clicking a checkbox next to a member will select and deselect them, while clicking the checkbox at the top of the table will select all on that page.
Managing Member Properties and Data
There are several pieces of information about a member in SocialCrowd, most of which can easily be updated from the frontend of the app. Below is a list detailing how to update each piece of data.

Double clicking on the email in the table will allow you to type a new email | |
Earning Eligibility | Clicking on the Active or Paused pill will update it to a new eligibility type |
Role | Clicking on the Participant pill will update it to Manager |
Properties | Go to Member Properties from the All Members Crowd and you can click into any members' property values to edit them - see the image below for a reference. |
