Introduction

  • Purpose: This article explains your Ambassador Program Assets, which you will need to prepare before launching your ambassador program.

  • Context: These assets include your Ambassador Landing Page, Handbook, and Contact Email, which serve to ensure a smooth experience for your ambassadors as they onboard.

Ambassador Landing Page

An Ambassador Landing Page is a dedicated web page designed to introduce and promote your brand's Ambassador Program. It serves as a central hub where potential or current ambassadors can learn about the program, its benefits, requirements, and how to get involved.

💡Check out some landing page examples:

To be effective, the landing page should include two essential buttons:

  • Application Form – Link to the form where customers can apply to join your Ambassador Program.

    • Copy the link on Settings → Account Settings → Manage Applications → Application URL (see image below).

Notes:

  • If you are embedding the ambassador application on your brand's website, you should use the custom URL from your brand's page.

  • If you're exclusively directly inviting ambassadors, don't use this button.

  • Ambassador Dashboard Login – Link to the SocialLadder login page, allowing existing ambassadors to access their dashboard and track their progress.

    • If leveraging SocialLadder Hosted, copy the link on Home → Home Dashboard → Copy Dashboard URL (see screenshot below).

    • If you are embedding the ambassador dashboard on your brand's website, you should use the custom URL from your brand's page.

Ambassador Handbook

The Ambassador Handbook is a go-to resource that outlines everything ambassadors need to know about your brand and program—from your mission and expectations to task instructions and rewards. It can be shared as a PDF or a URL and will appear at the bottom of the SocialLadder Ambassador Dashboard for easy access. See the image below.

Having a clear handbook is key to reducing questions, aligning ambassadors with your goals, and creating a smoother experience.

💡 Check out handbook examples:

General Guidelines

  • Keep it brief. We suggest the Handbook contains up to 12 pages.

  • Make it visual. Keep the text concise and add as many visual assets as possible.

  • Create a Second Asset. In case your program is focused on generating UGC and it has many specialties on content creation, consider adding a second tile to the ambassador dashboard focused on these topics (ie, Content Guidelines).

How to Upload the Ambassador Handbook

  1. Click on Community → Feeds in SocialLadder Admin Portal

  2. Click on the Tiles tab

  3. Click Create and fill out the fields.

  4. Feed Name: Provide a clear title that summarizes the content. This is for internal view only.

  5. Text Overlay: This is the short title that will appear on the Ambassador Dashboard over the handbook image. Make it attention-grabbing and relevant.

  6. Image: Upload an eye-catching thumbnail image that visually represents the handbook.

  7. Date: Select the Start Date and End Date to control when the post appears in the ambassador dashboard.

    • Add an ending date far ahead in the future (ie, one to two years from now). The idea is that ambassadors joining the program at any time will be able to read the handbook and refer to it at any time.

  8. Feed Type:

    • Internal: Upload a file directly from your device (e.g., PDF, DOC).

    • External: Provide a URL linking to an online document, article, or webpage.

  9. Segment: Select All Users so all ambassadors will have access to it.

  10. Click Save + Activate to add the Ambassador Handbook on the dashboard.

Ambassador Contact Email

The Ambassador Program Contact Email is the address ambassadors can use to reach your team with any questions specifically related to your brand’s program.

  • We will add a button to the SocialLadder Ambassador Dashboard page, so they can reach out to you in case they have questions about your Ambassador Program.

  • Additionally, your ambassadors will have SocialLadder Support Email contact. Our team will address any questions related to the Ambassador Dashboard. However, if there are program-specific questions, our support team will reroute them to your contact email.

Please share with your Implementation Specialist the Contact Email.
