If you want to hide the chat box on your Sociavore powered restaurant website, follow these step-by-step instructions:

Step 1: Access the Website Tab

  • Log in to your Sociavore account.

  • In the admin dashboard, navigate to the "Website" tab.

Step 2: Customize Page Design

  • Within the "Website" tab, within any page look for the option that says "Customize Page Design" and click on it. This will take you to the theme editor for that page.

Step 3: Locate the Desktop Action Bar

  • Inside the theme editor, you will see various sections related to page design.

  • Find the section called "Desktop Action Bar."

Step 4: Disable the Chat Box

  • Within the "Desktop Action Bar" section, you will find a setting named "Show Chat."

  • To hide the chat box, simply unselect or toggle off the "Show Chat" option.

Step 5: Save Your Changes

  • After turning off the "Show Chat" option, make sure to save your changes by clicking on the "Save" button in the theme editor.

Step 6: Confirm Chat is Hidden

  • After saving, preview your website to confirm that the chat box is now hidden from public view.
