Two- Factor Authentication allows you to safeguard your account by requiring a second form of authentication upon login. This feature reduces the risk of unauthorized access to your account, ensuring your data remains secure.
Easy Setup: Activating 2FA is straightforward and takes just a few moments.
Seamless Experience: Once enabled, you’ll be prompted for a code each time you log in from a new device or browser.
How to Activate 2FA:
Log into your SocioLocal account.
Go to Settings and select Security. Here you will be able to re-set your password and enable or disable 2FA using your preferred verification method.
If you choose to enable 2FA, you will be shown a QR code which you can scan with any 3rd party authenticator app to set up 2FA.
You can disable 2FA at any time by switching the toggle beside the multi-factor authentication to 'Disable'.
