SocioConnect’s advertising module enables mass adverts at scale for your brand. Create, publish, delete, and report on ads across all of your locations or as a group in just a few clicks.
Navigating To The Advertising Module
To access the advertising module on SocioConnect, click the (briefcase) icon on the navigation bar, to the left side of the screen.
Here you will find any advertising accounts already connected, and also the ability to connect a new one.
Connecting Advertising Accounts
When we talk about "connecting" an advertising account to SocioConnect, what we mean is establishing a link between a Meta(Facebook) Ads Account and our platform.
Once this link has been made, you'll be able to benefit from the powerful features of SocioConnect to advertise to your locations in volume, track your ads next to all of your other account activities,
To connect an advertising account to SocioConnect, the account must already exist within Facebook, and your personal account must have permission to manage it.
If you don't already have a Facebook Ads account set up, Click Here for a helpful guide
Once you're ready to connect an account, just press the Add Ads Account button you should be seeing on the advertising module.
SocioConnect will then ask you to sign into your personal Facebook profile - this is just so any ad accounts under your name can be detected, you'll then be given the option of which ad account you would like to connect.
Tip💡 Don't worry if you have multiple ad accounts - you can attach more than one to SocioConnect, just press the Add Ads Account button again, this can help keep things separated for billing and reporting.
Creating An Ad
There are two ways of creating an ad on SocioConnect, the first is to click the Create Ad button on the advertising module.
The second way to begin your ad creation is on the Posts screen, which can be a great time saver - find the post you would like to boost, hover your cursor over it, and then select the Create Ad button from there.
Before you start customising the particulars of your ad, you may be asked if you plan on boosting a Single Post or the entire Batch, in this sense we refer to the channels that the advertisement is intended for. While you may have clicked to Create An Ad on a batch post going out to 100 channels, you'll have the option of boosting just one of these, or all 100 at once.
Step One - Ad Set Up
The first part of setting up your ad is selecting the objective of the campaign; the options available through SocioConnect are (i) Engagement, (ii) Brand Awareness, and (iii) Traffic.
Engagement is for campaigns designed to show ads to an audience who is most likely to be interested in your business.
Brand Awareness is used for campaigns where the goal is reaching an audience most likely to remember them.
Traffic shapes your campaign to direct audiences to a specific destination, such as your website or app.
If your ad needs to be flagged on Facebook for "Special Ad Categories", you have this option also - if unsure, or for a deeper look at what that means, Click Here
You will be asked to either launch this ad as a new campaign (in which case you can type in a name for it) or assign it to an existing one.
Once you've completed these steps, click the Next button (bottom right) to progress.
Step Two - Budget & Schedule
Now we move on to setting the specifics of how much money you'll put behind your campaign, and the length of time it should run for.
Budget calculation when you're dealing with multiple channels can be complicated; SocioConnect aims to reassure you with a simple budget calculator - just type into the Lifetime Budget field the amount you want to spend per individual channel during this campaign, and the Total Budget field will auto-fill telling you what your total spend will be.
Don't Worry - your ad will never spend more than the number you see in the Total Budget field, so there won't be any surprises on your invoice from Facebook.
Once you're happy with your planned spend, set the start and end dates for this campaign, and be mindful of the timezone settings if you're scheduling while away from home.
Press the Next button again (bottom right) to continue.
Step Three - Audience Targeting
The final step will be to make sure your ad is correctly targeted for the best effect.
Facebook make it mandatory to use a Template Audience when advertising through third party apps; the audiences you see within the "Use Template Audience" field on SocioConnect are pulled through directly from the attached ads accounts.

Lastly, you'll adjust any options like gender or age that might be important to your campaign - or add Detailed Targetings tag to narrow down your audience.
Once you're ready to finish, you won't find the Next button at the bottom right like on the previous steps, it will now be the Submit button at the top of the screen (this helps protect against anyone clicking Next a little too fast and accidentally submitting an ad early).
