Translating SocioLocal Using Google Chrome

Chrome’s translation tool can automatically translate web pages into many languages, helping users navigate the platform more comfortably.

This article explains how to translate SocioLocal using Google Chrome.


Follow the steps below when using Google Chrome on a desktop browser.

Step 1 – Open SocioLocal in Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome

  2. Go to the SocioLocal website and log in as normal

  3. Navigate to any page within the platform

If Chrome detects that the page is in a different language from your browser’s default language, it may automatically offer to translate the page.

Step 2 – Open Chrome’s Translation Menu

If the translation prompt does not appear automatically:

  1. Click the three dots (⋮) in the top right corner of the Chrome browser window.

  2. In the dropdown menu, click Translate.

Step 3 – Choose Your Preferred Language

If you would like to translate the page into a different language:

  1. After selecting Translate, a translation menu will appear near the address bar.

  2. Click the three dots inside the translation pop-up.

  3. Select Choose another language.

  4. Select the language you want from the list.

Chrome will immediately translate the page into your browser’s default language.
