Why was a product link removed from my video?

Product links get removed on the TikTok or seller side when a campaign ends or a product goes unavailable. Here is why, and what you can do.

Written by Basel

Product links get removed when a brand or TikTok stops a product from being promoted. This happens on the TikTok and seller side, not in Soco.

Common reasons links get removed

A brand or TikTok may remove or disable a product link when:

  • The affiliate campaign is paused or ended.

  • The product goes out of stock.

  • Creator permissions are turned off.

  • The campaign switches from open to invite-only.

  • The brand removes links from older videos.

When this happens, TikTok automatically removes the product link from your videos.

What you can do

You have a few options:

  • Contact the seller directly and ask if the campaign is still active and whether linking is allowed again.

  • Check in TikTok Shop to see if the product is still available to promote. If it becomes available again, you can relink it to your video.

  • If the campaign is closed, find another product to promote.

Important to know

A few things worth flagging:

  • Soco cannot restore removed links.

  • Soco does not control brand or seller decisions.

  • All link removals happen on the TikTok or seller side.

Soco's role is to help you quickly replace removed links with better active opportunities.

Before you use Add All to Showcase

If you already have a higher-commission link from a brand collab in your showcase, review Link Finder's suggestions carefully before tapping "Add All to Showcase". It can replace your brand link with a Soco version if you don't check.
