What does “+X in the last 7 days” mean?

In the Viral Product Finder, “+X in the last 7 days” shows how much sales increased for a product during the most recent 7-day period, compared to the 7 days before that.

Written by Basel

It reflects recent sales movement, not views and not total units sold.

What "+X" refers to

When you see something like:

+207 (+1.3%) | 7 days

It means:

  • The product generated additional sales in the last 7 days

  • Compared to the previous 7-day period

  • The percentage shows how much higher sales are relative to before

This tells you whether a product is selling more than it usually does right now.

Why this metric exists

This metric helps you:

  • Spot products with rising demand

  • Compare recent momentum across products

  • Focus on what's moving now, not just what sold well in the past

A product with lower total sales but strong recent growth can be more interesting than a product with high totals that are flat.

What this metric does not mean

"+X in the last 7 days" does not mean:

  • The product will keep selling at this rate

  • The product is guaranteed to perform for you

  • The number represents views or engagement

It only describes what happened recently.

In short

In the Viral Product Finder, "+X in the last 7 days" shows how much sales increased over the most recent 7 days compared to the previous period, helping you identify products with growing demand right now.
