Rest assured, it’s impossible to lose your data with Soma. All session data is securely stored on the device and only transmitted to our servers in Switzerland once it’s safe. If you see the message, “Uploading results due to a loss of internet availability in your last session,” it means the Wi-Fi was poor, and the data wasn’t transferred immediately. However, the data is securely held on the phone until the connection is restored.

If an athlete claims they completed the session but the data didn’t upload, simply check their session history to confirm.

If this occurs, you’ll see the following in the history:

Start Session > Open – This indicates that the athlete started the session, the app crashed, and they reopened the app.
