Why Is EDM Mode Important for Performance?

Monitors an athlete’s ability to recover from mistakes – Helps coaches see if errors disrupt performance or if the athlete adapts quickly.

Identifies whether athletes take a cautious or quick correction approach – Longer EDM reaction time means they are being careful; shorter EDM reaction time means they are recovering quickly.

Tracks improvements in decision-making under pressure – A decreasing EDM reaction time over time shows the athlete is getting better at fixing mistakes efficiently.
