Adding a user in Soma Analytics involves two main steps: purchasing Soma IDs and then connecting to a user using these IDs. Here's a detailed guide on how to complete these processes:

Purchasing Soma IDs:

  • Access the Soma Menu: Start by clicking on the Soma drop-down menu, which provides access to various Soma-related features and settings.

  • Select 'Purchase Soma-IDs': Within this menu, find the option to 'Purchase Soma-IDs' and click on it to proceed.

  • Specify the Quantity: A dialog box will appear, prompting you to enter the number of Soma IDs you require. Enter the desired quantity in this box.

  • Click 'Purchase': After specifying the quantity, click the 'Purchase' button. You will be asked to confirm your purchase. Follow through to complete the transaction.

    • Confirmation: Upon completion, you will have successfully purchased the necessary Soma IDs, enabling you to connect with users and access their cognitive data.

Connecting to a User:

  • Access the Soma Menu Again: Click on the Soma drop-down menu to access the required options for connecting to a user.

  • Select 'Soma ID Archive': In the menu, locate and select the 'Soma ID Archive.' This section stores all Soma IDs associated with users.

  • Copy the Soma ID: Find the specific Soma ID you wish to use for connection and copy it to your clipboard.

  • Add a User: Click the 'Add User' option. You will be prompted to enter the user's Soma ID.

  • Paste the Soma ID: In the provided field, paste the Soma ID that you copied earlier.

    • Final Step: Once the Soma ID is pasted, confirm the action. You are now successfully connected with the user. This allows you to begin accessing their cognitive data and monitor their performance effectively.
