What to do if your song isn’t playing properly

What to do if your song doesn't play properly, is skipping or appears to be broken.

Introduction

If your song isn't playing properly, or is breaking up, skipping, or choppy, then you're in the right place.

The good news is that playback issues have nothing to do with the song itself, so they can be easily resolved by following the steps below.

Step 1: Ensure you have a good internet connection

Playing your song from your Song Page requires a good internet connection, so make sure your device is connected to the internet and has a strong signal.

Step 2: Ensure your device is not on silent

Make sure Silent mode is turned off, and the volume is turned up on your device.

Step 3: Ensure your speakers are working properly

If you are using external speakers to play your song, make sure they are plugged in and are working properly.

Step 4: Ensure you have a Strong Bluetooth connection

If you are connecting to external speakers via Bluetooth (e.g. in your car), make sure you have a strong connection, as an unstable connection can cause a 'skipping' effect.

Step 5: Download your song to your device

Some customers have let us know that downloading their song to their device and playing it from there (rather than directly from their song page) resolved Bluetooth-related skipping issues for them, so we recommend trying this if the other steps haven't resolved your issues.
