If you want users who are trying to connect with you to be required to verify your email address before sending a request, you can turn this setting on. We have this setting turned on for you by default, but you can turn it off if you'd like.
Here's how to change this setting:
Click your profile image in the top right corner and click Account Settings.
2. Scroll down to Preferences and click the toggle next to Require email verification for connection request to turn this feature on or off.
