Before you set up a webtext for your course, youâll first need to log in or create an account.
Once youâre logged in and previewing the webtext, click the Set Up Your Webtext button in the upper-right corner.
Configure the webtext for your course
Youâll be asked to provide some basic information about your course. If you donât have everything just yetâlike grading information or due datesâyou can fill out what you have now and leave a note for our Instructor Support team in the Additional Information field. Or, if you prefer, you can return later to finish setting up your webtext.

Once youâre happy with the information youâve added, click Review Webtext Settings.
Confirm your webtext settings
Review your settings one last time, then click the Confirm and Send button to share your information with Soomoâs webtext specialists.
Check your email
Once your webtext settings are confirmed, you will get an email from our Instructor Support team. Use the Explore Your Webtext link in the email to review your new webtext. You can also find it in the Course Webtexts section of the Tools Menu in your webtext.
Tip: Make sure Soomo is in your email contacts so emails from us donât go to your Spam folder!
