If you want to analyze your Facebook fan page, you may have already asked yourself how to get the best results.

πŸ‘‰ It all depends on the audience size of your Facebook fan page!

Do you know the size of your audience? Let's get started! πŸš€

Option 1: You have a small audience size on your Facebook fan page

In this case, the goal is to create a larger audience with people most similar to your original audience to help you gain relevant insights.
We will therefore create a lookalike audience directly in your Meta Business Manager and then import it as a first-party data audience into the SOPRISM platform.

Is it still a little unclear? Don't panic, we'll see it together step by step:

  • Connect to your Meta business manager

  • On "All tools", choose "Audiences"

  • When you are in the audiences area, click on "Create Audience" and then, "Custom Audience"

  • Choose to create a custom audience based on a Facebook page, then click "Next"

  • Choose the page you want to analyze, it's a page you must have access to. Then, define the trigger event of analysis, usually, we advise analyzing all the people having engaged with your page during the last 365 days but, you can change the parameters according to your objective of analysis. Give your audience a name and description. Then click on "Create audience".

  • Your custom audience has just been created! πŸŽ‰
The next step is to create a lookalike audience, in order to upload it to your SOPRISM dashboard.

  • Here, you can re-select your data source and verify that it is the Custom Audience you just created.

  • Then you can indicate the location of the audience. It is possible to choose a group of countries of your choice or a geographical area such as the European Union for example.

  • Choose the % of you lookalike, check on your estimated audience size, and then click on "create audience"

  • Find your two audiences on your list. They are being populated, that's why you see their status in "populating".

  • Once your audience is ready, you can connect to your SOPRISM dashboard and click on "New project".

  • Choose to base your profiling on first-party data

  • Import your Lookalike audience

  • Check on the project universe

  • Check on the audience location

If you click on "more options", you have the possibility to refine your audience.

  • Once you are satisfied, you can start profiling your Facebook fan page by clicking on "Launch your project"! πŸ₯³

Option 2: You have a big audience size on your Facebook fan page.

  • You can connect directly to your SOPRISM dashboard, and click on "New project".

  • Choose to base your profiling on your Facebook fan page directly

  • You arrive on the import page of your Facebook fan page, in the "Audience setup", select your fan page.

  • Please note! ⚠️
If you see that when you select your fan page, the audience size changes, it's because you have to select a country or a geographical area on which to base your profiling. So here we go from 2,459,886 people to 5,400 people.

  • If we choose "Worldwide", the audience size will change again.
Note that the values that appear in the target audience size are directly returned by Facebook, so it is possible that the audience size submitted to profiling is different from the number of followers or people who liked your page. This difference comes from the default value that Facebook assigns to the audience of your page.

  • Once you are satisfied, you can start profiling your Facebook fan page by clicking on "Launch your project"! πŸ₯³

Now all you have to do is analyze the insights generated by your profiling! πŸš€
