You may notice that some of your repeating visits have "end dates" added to them even though you never added an end date to those visits. This happens to ensure that repeating visits are accurately managed without overlap or unwanted scheduling.

For example, a visit might say "$50 every 2 weeks on Thu until 01 May '25"

This occur under two scenarios:

1. Deleting a Repeating Visit

When a repeating visit is deleted, the last scheduled visit before the deletion will automatically have an "end date" added to prevent future visits from being created.

Example: If you delete a visit scheduled for May 15th in a biweekly series, all visits from May 15th onward will be removed. The visit scheduled for May 1st will then have May 1st as its end date.

2. Dragging a Repeating Visit to a New Date

When you drag a repeating visit to a new date and click "apply to all future jobs in this series," the system splits the series into two.

The original series gets an end date to prevent overlap, and a new series starts with the new date.

Example: If you move a visit from May 15th to May 16th and click the green button, the previous series will end on May 1st, and a new repeating series starting on May 16th will be created. You may then see two repeating visits on the property:

  • $50 every 2 weeks on Thu until 01 May '25

  • $50 every 2 weeks on Fri starting 16 May '25
