Share SortScape with friends and earn account credits! When someone signs up using your referral link and makes their first payment, they get their first month free and you receive a credit applied to your account.

How to Access Refer a Friend

If you're on a paid subscription and located in an eligible country, you'll see "Refer a friend" in your account menu. Click it to open the referral program modal.

How It Works

  1. Get your referral link - When you open the Refer a Friend modal, you'll see your unique referral link. This link is automatically generated for your account.

  2. Share with friends - Copy the link or use the Share button to send it to friends who might be interested in SortScape. You can share via email, text message, social media, or any other method.

  3. Friend signs up - When your friend clicks your link and creates a new SortScape account, the referral code is automatically applied.

  4. Friend makes first payment - Once your friend makes their first valid subscription payment (after any trial period), they receive their first month free (or equivalent discount for annual plans). The first payment must be greater than $0 and must include a base subscription; payments consisting only of add-ons do not qualify.

  5. You get credited - After your friend pays their first valid invoice and SortScape reviews and approves the referral, you'll receive a credit applied to your account. Credits are automatically applied to reduce your future invoices.

Important: Both you and your friend receive your rewards only after your friend pays their first valid invoice. If your friend is on a free trial, the credits will be applied once they complete their trial and make their first payment. Referral codes must be used at signup—they cannot be applied after account creation, trial start, or subscription activation.

What You Get

When a friend you referred makes their first valid payment, you'll receive:

  • Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada: $100 credit

  • United Kingdom: £50 credit

The credit amount depends on your account's billing country. Credits are applied to your account and automatically reduce your future SortScape invoices until fully used. Referral credits expire twelve (12) months from the date they are applied to your account.

When you'll receive your credit: Your credit is applied after your friend pays their first valid invoice (not when they sign up). For monthly subscriptions, this means the credit will appear after their first payment. For annual subscriptions, the credit is applied after they complete their first payment at checkout. Please allow up to 10 business days after their payment for SortScape to review and process your credit.

What Your Friend Gets

When someone signs up using your referral link:

  • Monthly plans: 100% discount on their first month (first month free)—applied after their first payment is processed

  • Annual plans: 8.33% discount applied at checkout (equivalent to one month free)

The discount is calculated on the base subscription price (excluding add-ons). It is applied automatically when they sign up using your referral link. For monthly plans, the discount appears on their first invoice after they make their first payment. For annual plans, the discount is visible at checkout.

Tracking Your Referrals

In the Refer a Friend modal, you'll see a count of your successful referrals. This shows how many friends have signed up and made their first valid payment, earning you credits.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate in the Refer a Friend program:

  • You must be at least 18 years old

  • You must have an active paid subscription

  • Your account must be located in Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada, or United Kingdom

  • You must be an admin user on your account

Not permitted: self-referrals; referrals within the same legal entity; duplicate or fake accounts; or sharing referral links through spam, misleading conduct, or similar abusive practices. SortScape may approve or reject referrals at its discretion. If you don't see "Refer a friend" in your menu, your account may not meet these requirements.

Important Notes

  • You must have the consent of the person you're sharing with before sending them your referral link. Do not use spam, misleading conduct, or similar abusive practices to obtain referrals.

  • Your friend's first payment must be greater than $0 and must include a base subscription; payments consisting only of add-ons do not qualify for referral rewards.

  • Credits are only applied after your friend pays their first valid invoice. If your friend is on a free trial, you'll need to wait until they complete the trial and make their first payment before your credit is processed.

  • Credits are applied after SortScape reviews and approves each referral. Please allow up to 10 business days after your friend's first payment for processing.

  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be refunded or transferred. They can only be used to reduce future SortScape invoices.

  • Referral credits expire twelve (12) months from the date they are applied to your account.

  • Credits are tied to your SortScape account. If you cancel your subscription, any unused referral credits are forfeited.

  • One referral reward per new SortScape account—each friend can only use one referral code when signing up.

  • Your friend must use your referral link when starting their trial. Referral codes cannot be applied after account creation, trial has started, or a paid plan has begun.
