Whether you're logging a new client visit or updating property information, SortScape allows you to attach files directly to these records. It's as straightforward as locating and clicking on the attachment option during the creation or modification of a visit or property.

Consistent Information Across Visits

In instances where a document or image is relevant to multiple visits for a single property, there's an efficient solution. When you attach a file to a property, you have the ability to make that file visible across all visits to that property by checking the "show on visits" box. This eliminates the need to upload the same attachment multiple times.

Deleting Attachments

Should you need to remove an attachment, locate the thumbnail image and click on the cross icon to delete it.

However, if you don't see a cross icon, the attachment is most likely associated with the property and visible across all visits. To remove such an attachment, navigate to the property and delete the file from there.

Emailing Attachments

When manually sending an email to customers through SortScape, you can include visit attachments in the email if, for example, you want to show the customer before and after photos of the work performed at their property.

The Value of Attachments in Your Business

Having the ability to attach files serves multiple purposes:

  • Documentation: Use attachments to store before and after photos for each visit, providing valuable visual records of your work.

  • Standardization: Upload documents like safety checklists and care instructions that can be accessed for every job related to a particular property.

  • Efficiency: Attachments streamline your workflow by centralizing essential files, making them easily accessible when needed.
