If you’re about to start as a host on SpacePal, here’s a simple checklist to help you get off on the right foot and secure your first booking.
1. Download the App
First things first, download the app on iOS. No worries, you can also access it directly from our website here.
Receive instant notifications for all inquiries and bookings.
Send messages and manage your bookings from your phone like a pro.
Invite users to book your place by sharing your public profile link.
2. Add availability to your calendar
Managing your calendar is a crucial part of being a host, making things easier for you and your guests.
Block dates and times easily from the Reservations -> Calendar section.
Set the minimum number of hours per booking.
Configure the times when your space is available for booking.
Note: SpacePal may mark your calendar as unavailable if you haven’t provided all the necessary information for your account, so make sure all your details are complete.
3. Choose the best photos for your listing
Selecting the right photos is key. They need to clearly show what you offer and align with the activities that can be performed in your space.
For Workspaces: Photos should depict the area as a place for work, meetings, or conferences. If you have multiple workspaces for rent, create a separate listing for each
For Productions: Wide-angle shots showing the entire space and everything included, such as lights, backdrops, equipment, and other rental items.
For Events and Recreational: Photos should show your place empty for any event, plus details like lighting and decoration.
Make sure your cover photo is the best one since it’s what all users will see when searching for a space.
