Introducing Specter Chrome Extension
With the Specter Chrome Extension, you can access actionable insights about companies directly in your browser, streamlining your workflow with just a click.
One click reveals funding rounds, hiring moves, web traffic, app downloads, product reviews, news, and more—whether you’re skimming a company webpage or browsing a founder’s LinkedIn.

How to Install
Step 1
Navigate to Settings and find Chrome Extension under Personal
Step 2
Click Install Now. The Chrome Web Store will open—click Add to Chrome on the right-hand side.
Step 3
Once installed, pin the extension for easy access: click the puzzle icon (top-right) and hit the pin next to Specter.
Step 4
Visit any company website or LinkedIn company/profile page and click the Specter icon. An overlay shows the full Specter profile. (Example: Attio shown below.)
Step 5
You can now track the health of your Chrome extension once connected. Make sure you are always up to date to get the most out of the extension.
Quick Actions
Like / Dislike: React to Specter entities and pair with status filters to reduce noise.
Add to List: Bundle Companies or People into a curated collection.
Push to CRM: With Add to CRM, the entity syncs straight to your deal-flow system. Need the setup steps? See CRM Integration Guide ›
