Finding Companies by Industry

Under Filters, there is a wide range of Industries and Sub-Industries you can use to find companies that match your investment thesis. You can type or select each from a dropdown of well defined categories. See here for a full breakdown of our Industry Taxonomy.

Or / And

You can combine several (sub-)industries in your searches to encompass a collection of spaces of interest, using OR filtering to see the widest range of companies possible in these spaces. For example, you could filter for Finance OR Software to see the combination of companies across these two industries.

It is also possible to look at the intersection of industries by using AND filtering. For example, Finance AND Software would show you companies that fulfill both these criteria.

Include / Exclude

Selecting (sub-)industries includes them in your search, but if there are any you would like to exclude, simply click 🚫 to make sure these don't surface on the feed. For example, you can select the Energy Industry, but also choose against seeing anything related to Oil and Gas or Mining within that.
