Welcome to the Pro Plan! One of our premium features is the ability to edit the summaries before they are sent. If you would like to get access to this feature and don't have a Pro Plan yet, subscribe here to get immediate access.

With this feature enabled, you'll receive an email in your inbox after the meeting, prompting you to edit the summary and then send it out. You'll also see the pending summaries in your Draft tab in the dashboard.

You can set this up as a default setting for all of your meetings or customize for each meeting series.

Turn on Edit for For All Meetings

If you want to automatically edit all of the summaries that you invite Spinach to:

  1. Go to your Spinach dashboard

  2. Navigate to Settings

  3. Select Edit Summaries

  4. You'll receive an editable version of the summary

  5. When you're done editing, it will send based on your Email settings (see details here).

Customize Per Meeting Series

If you want to customize the edit summary setting per meeting series:

  1. Go to your Spinach dashboard

  2. Navigate to the Meetings tab

  3. Click on the meeting

  4. Select Edit Summary if you want to edit the summaries for this meeting series

Review and edit your Drafts to publish your summaries, transcripts and videos

After a meeting is finished, you'll receive a Ready for Review prompt in your inbox to review the summary. You can also see pending summaries in the Draft tab in your dashboard. Summaries aren't considered completed or published until you action them in the Drafts tab.

Edit for In-Person or Conference Meetings

You can use the edit summary feature for in-person meetings, conference meetings or meeting rooms. Spinach isn't yet optimized for these use cases, as it has a hard time distinguishing speakers. So using the edit feature can help you assign the correct speakers to each item.
