Why must I enter OTP/Login Verification code on login after clearing cache/cookies?

Updated over 9 months ago

By clearing the cache and cookies of your browser, it refreshes the temporary data stored on the websites you visit. This action also eliminates the "footprint" you leave when going through security features like OTP requirements on a webpage.

To ensure the security of your account, SpinPals requires additional verification when you log in from a new device, switch browsers, recently cleared your cache and cookies, or use private/incognito mode. This One-Time Password (OTP) verification process confirms that the person accessing the SpinPals account is indeed the authorized account holder.

Additionally, this feature safeguards your account against potential unauthorized access, especially in scenarios where your password might have been compromised.
