No, spin measurement does not work with normal balls because the camera cannot detect the rotation. Speed measurement usually works with normal balls. However, SPINSIGHT balls are required for optimal accuracy and spin measurement. If the app cannot detect the dots on the ball, the speed value is usually still displayed.
The speed can be displayed in Open Play and you can use the "Serves - Fast Long" and "Attack - Smash" exercises.
Sometimes the app gets confused by the stamp on the ball and displays a spin value. These values are not accurate and should be ignored.
Does the measurement also work with normal table tennis balls?
