Thanks for reaching out to us here at Splash! Here's how scoring works in QuickPicks and what happens if there’s a tie.
🏆 How Winners Are Determined
The user with the highest total score in the group wins the first-place prize.
If two or more users tie for first, the prize is evenly split among the top scorers.
📊 How Points Are Awarded
✅ Correct “More” or “Less” prediction: 1 point
➖ Tied outcome (e.g., projected stat exactly hit): 0.5 points
🚫 DNP (Did Not Play): 0.5 points - This applies when a player doesn't participate in the game for any reason, regardless of your prediction for that player.
❌ Incorrect prediction: 0 points

🏀 Understanding DNP (Did Not Play) Scenarios
When a player is marked as DNP, they automatically contribute 0.5 points to your total score, regardless of your prediction: However, it's important to note that DNP situations do not qualify for refunds as per the refund policy guidelines.
For example, if you selected four players, correctly predicted three outcomes (3 points), and one player was DNP (0.5 points), your total score would be 3.5 points.
Even with DNP players on your list, you can still win if your total score is highest in your group.
📌 Example Scenario If one of your players is marked as DNP, they will contribute 0.5 points to your total score. For example, if you picked five players, correctly guessed outcomes for three (3 points), and two were DNP, your total score would be 4 points. This scoring ensures fairness, even when players fail to participate. Remember, DNP cases contribute points but do not qualify for refunds as outlined in our refund policy.
If you tied with another entrant for first place, the prize was split evenly according to our standard payout rules. This ensures fairness across all peer-to-peer contests.
💰 QuickPicks Refund Policy
Refunds are generally not provided for QuickPicks entries in the following scenarios:
Did Not Play (DNP) Players: If one or more players in an entry are marked as DNP, they will count as 0.5 points, but a refund will not be issued.
Injuries During Games: Players who are injured during the game will still receive 0.5 points per the contest rules, and no refunds will be provided.
Losing Tickets Due to Multiple DNPs: If multiple players are marked as DNP and the entry results in a loss, a refund will not be processed. For complete details on refund eligibility and other rules, please visit: QuickPicks Rules.
