Thanks for reaching out to us here at Splash! Here's how scoring works in QuickPicks and what happens if there’s a tie.
🏆 How Winners Are Determined
The user with the highest total score in the group wins the first-place prize.
If two or more users tie for first, the prize is evenly split among the top scorers.
📊 How Points Are Awarded
✅ Correct “More” or “Less” prediction: 1 point
➖ Tied outcome (e.g., projected stat exactly hit): 0.5 points
🚫 DNP (Did Not Play): 0.5 points - This applies when a player doesn't participate in the game for any reason, regardless of your prediction for that player.
❌ Incorrect prediction: 0 points
🔍 Where to View Your Score

🏀 Understanding DNP (Did Not Play) Scenarios
When a player is marked as DNP, they automatically contribute 0.5 points to your total score, regardless of your prediction: However, it's important to note that DNP situations do not qualify for refunds as per the refund policy guidelines.
For example, if you selected four players, correctly predicted three outcomes (3 points), and one player was DNP (0.5 points), your total score would be 3.5 points.
Even with DNP players included, a player with the highest total score in the group would win the contest.
📌 Example Scenario If one of your players is marked as DNP, they will contribute 0.5 points to your total score. For example, if you picked five players, correctly guessed outcomes for three (3 points), and two were DNP, your total score would be 4 points. The 0.5-point rule ensures fairness in overall scoring, even without player participation.
If you tied with another entrant for first place, the prize was split evenly according to our standard payout rules. This ensures fairness across all peer-to-peer contests.
