MLB Hit Survivor - How Does It Work?

Updated over a week ago

How It Works: Making Picks

Day 1:

  • Pick 2 primary batters and 1 alternate, all from different MLB teams

  • If either primary gets a hit, you move on

Day 2 and onward:

  • Pick 1 primary and 1 alternate

  • Your primary must get a hit for your entry to survive

Alternates: When Are They Used?

Your alternate batter will replace your primary if:

  • The primary’s game is postponed or cancelled

  • The batter is not in the starting lineup

  • The batter is injured and doesn’t record an at-bat

⚠️ Note: The swap happens after the primary batter’s game is complete.
If neither batter plays, the entry is eliminated.
If your alternate isn't used, you can still pick them later.

Double-Header FAQ:

When selecting a player, your pick applies only to the specific game time listed on the player card. If that player is part of a doubleheader, your entry will only count for the game that corresponds to the time displayed.
