You will only see these contest formats in the Create a Contest Flow

Updated over 2 weeks ago

When selecting your NCAAB contest type, you’ll see the following options when CREATING A NEW CONTEST:

NCAAB Pick’em

This option is available for Splash-managed, real-money contests.

  • You can create a brand-new Pick’em contest on Splash.

  • Splash handles entry fee collection and automated payouts.

  • This format is different from the Entertainment-Only (EO) Pick’em version.

Important:
If you previously ran an EO Pick’em contest, you cannot convert it to Splash-managed real money. You may only restart it on the Entertainment-Only platform.

NCAAB Survivor – Pick by Day

Available as either:

  • Splash-Managed (Real-Money)

    • Splash collects entry fees

    • Splash distributes winnings

    • Automated payouts and admin support

  • Self-Managed (Entertainment-Only)

    • Commissioner collects payments outside the platform

    • Commissioner distributes winnings manually

This format allows participants to pick one team per tournament day and survive as long as their picks win.

NCAAB Survivor – Pick by Round

Also available as either:

  • Splash-Managed (Real-Money)

    • Splash handles entry fees and payouts

    • Automated administration

  • Self-Managed (Entertainment-Only)

    • Commissioner manages payments and payouts outside the platform

This format allows participants to select one team per round and advance if their pick wins.
